The RoleThe VP, HRBP will deliver HR business partner services and lead compensation, recruitment, diversity, training and organizational development initiatives in support of the business.
In addition, this person will provide coaching and support to mid and senior-level managers to improve their people leadership effectiveness and drive enterprise and BU specific talent programs. Key areas of focus include organizational design, workforce planning, coaching and feedback, performance and change management, inclusion and engagement efforts.
The Expertise And Skills You Bring
  • 12-15 years of HR business partner experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven success serving as a trusted advisor to senior level executives, challenging and influencing difficult issues and strategic decisions, as well as providing sophisticated solutions to complex issues in an ambiguous environment
  • Actively listens to the needs and concerns of business leaders and functional partners and can develop strategic recommendations/solutions.
  • Demonstrating experience in influencing executive teams on implications of internal and external business trends and issues that influence talent or operating environments
  • Strong partner to business leaders to develop strategy and implement programming that educates all levels of associates on key D&I concepts and goals.
  • Ability to influence others, develop and maintain working relationships, and deliver results and/or expertise in a professional manner.
  • Strong decision-making skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, fluid environment
  • Ability to align your vision to execute on the delivery of capabilities
  • Strong analytical capability to help translate workforce and delivery data into strategy, decision-making and business results
  • Strong intuitive knowledge of the businesses in which we compete, and the current and future talent needs of those businesses
  • Excel at interpreting data, recognizing trends and themes, and advising with the business using measures and results
  • Outstanding communication, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
